A LOCAL church has objected to certain provisions in the draft code of governance for charities now under public consultation through August.

The senior pastor of the 15,000-strong, non-denominational New Creation Church is both its chief executive and chairman of its six-member board. The code, however, requires the two positions to be separate. The church argues that its senior pastor is ‘ordained by God to lead the church (so) he is the best person to guide the board’ as well.

if the senior pastor is “ordained by God”, why do you need a board? i mean did Moses need a board?

and if the board needs guidance, does it mean that the board is not “ordained by God”?

please don’t worry too much about jo and his board. cos they know the secret to “start reigning over” draft codes, governors of charities and general members of the public (Christian or not).

    Joseph Prince makes me laugh with the message of grace and love from Jesus Christ.

    Whenever he jokes, the whole world laughs with him and be blessed by his openness. Whenever he’s serious, those who believe in themselves rather than in Jesus, feel that Joseph Prince is taking rubbish. Obviously, because if anyone who believes in himself more than Jesus, he believes in rubbish. If he believes a little of rubbish, his rubbish can be used for karang guni man. If he believes less of his rubbish, he is aware that Jesus is alive and lives in his heart.

    He who trust in himself more, will be destroyed by his own very hands….Hahahaha.

    God’s way, as seen throughout the Bible, is to raise ONE man to do His will. egs are Moses, Samson, David, Noah, Abraham, Paul etc.

    But this does not mean that the person does not need leaders under him to help him carry out the job. Hence the board. The board, ideally made up of Spirit-filled leaders, reaffirms what God has told the leader to do.

    Both parties have the Holy Spirit in them so God can speak to both parties. IOW, one party can confirm what the other has heard from God and vice versa. Iron sharpens iron, so to speak. The board also does the nitty-gritty (finance, admin, press etc)leaving the chairman to focus on the big picture.

    David had his mighty men. Moses couldn’t do it all by himself, so he had to break the people up into groups of various numbers and appoint other leaders over them.

    fully read through Pastor Prince’s word, check the scriptures yourself before making any comments.

    Trust not in people but the word of GOD. have you checked back the scriptures? Or just blame blindly on what he preached.

    If you can find any disagreement upon the revelation of the scriptures that he had preached, then put it up this blog. that’s more of a proof.

    He, as one of the minister, are sent by God.
    We, however, having BRAINS to analyse what he has said is truth, or blasphemy. For me who think I am stiill having brains, check back the scriptures myself and asking god for revelation.

    Whether you choose to believe in what he says, the truth is still there. If you choose not to take the blessing that God has already given, leave it as it is. I will prefer to take your portions as well.

    Local Church by Witness Lee is very legalistic and replacing the Holy Spirit with Lee’s books. I am not so much against Witness Lee but I completely against his followers. They are blindly ritualistic, and having form of religion but have no power from such turn away.

    I love watching Joseph Prince! He is a very intelligent and well studied! I live in America, and I just started watching him a couple of months ago, and his message of Grace has totally turned me and my family around! We were already Christians, but felt that we had to “work” to keep our salvation. Now we know that Jesus did it all , and we are free from guilt and condemnation. Now I feel closer to Jesus than I ever did before! I thank God for Pastor Prince, and I wish I could go to his church!

    Don’t attack the Messenger Ps Prince. He delivers a True picture of Jesus unlike most pastors who are legalistic! I just wish we had more Pastors like that in USA…. Funny, practical, full of Grace *sigh*
