zoe tay’s nutritious good things

Posted in Singapore by isaiahlim on November 21, 2008

Zoe Tay (quoted in today’s ST):
I can’t scrimp on the kids’ food. It’s important that growing children absorb nutrition from good things. The rice I buy for the kids is $23-a-pack Japanese rice. My husband doesn’t know.

thanks to whoelse, I tasted 新米 (new rice harvested in September and October) in Japan this time.

it is like most good things in life – sweet, wet and tasty.

as you can see from this picture i took last night at Isetan Scotts Supermarket, a 2kg of premium 新米 costs SGD 35.

rice

let there be no doubt – if we want our kids to survive, outfeed, outspend, outwit (the husband).

She doesn’t want her husband to know but she announces it on ST? Brilliance!
